The VFX Vault is an in-depth library focused on helping Game Developers, Content Producers, Film Studios, Hobbyists and all levels of creatives in the real time space with one main pain point: Visual Effects and Technical Assets. This library has been built out of necessity as the real time space has rapidly expanded over the past decade one of the growing pains has been a distinct lack of visual effects artists.
The main goal we set out to solve is helping ensure everyone can have access to AAA quality real time visual effects, as the demand for more content grows in this industry we feel that more and more content libraries are going to play a critical role in helping smaller creators get up and running and helping bigger companies fill in the blank spots that they might be struggling to fill.
We believe the future of this industry depends greatly on being more open and that there’s room for everyone to work together and create a vast interactive space where everyone can have access to a variety of tools an workflows. We want to enable every creative to realize their ideas from novice to expert. We want to be able to make that vision a reality and we want to be the place people can come to for just a simple technique they might want to use or fully realized high quality effect or assets.
We know we can’t solve everyone’s problems, as much as we wish we could! We knew when we set out on this journey that VFX and Technical assets each present their own unique challenges. We know that each project will have their own vision, goals and unique technical challenges and approaches. With this in mind our approach is focused more on the broader big picture, instead of trying to solve everyone’s unique problems we aim to solve techniques and show workflows as well as providing final high quality assets.
We feel this approach can help everyone, if you just want the final asset you can grab that, but if you want certain parts or pieces of the work flow that you need to customize to make your own version tailored to your vision we enable that too. We think this way we can be more than just an asset marketplace but also a true library that shares knowledge and enables creatives by showing not just the final product but the steps along the way too.
